Jets Stun Bengals And Get Their First Win!

For Fields, it was something of a moment of redemption after a difficult week, and an even more difficult season. Earlier this week, Jets owner Woody Johnson slammed Fields and his team during league meetings after the team’s winless start, saying that wins were hard “when you have a quarterback with the rating that we’ve got.”

After Johnson’s comments, things got to the point that head coach Aaron Glenn refused to say whether Fields would be the starter despite backup Tyrod Taylor being out with a knee injury. But Fields had a much better game on Sunday, going 21 of 32 for 244 pass yards, plus a passing touchdown and the two-point conversion that turned out to be a difference-maker.
