The Golden State Warriors were crowned champions of the NBA, finishing off the Boston Celtics in Game 6. Rick’s Cabaret New York was abuzz, because a majority of the lovely ladies who perform at the upscale gentlemen’s club had predicted the Warriors would triumph over the Celtics.
Assorted media types had been invited by the club’s PR guy Lonnie Hanover to chat with the girls at an NBA Finals party right before Game 1. It was a fun event, and maybe we didn’t take the girls sports expertise too seriously—we were busy admiring their great looks and perfect bodies. Today, we gladly acknowledge that the Rick’s Cabaret exotic dancers were right, and they do know their basketball.

“We love sports,” said Rick’s girl Hanna. “Look, pro athletes are often here, and all the games are playing on the club’s TVs. You pick up insight all kinds of ways.”
Hanna is now focusing on baseball, watching the Mets and Yankees closely. “They are both great teams. It would be amazing seeing them face off in the World Series. But, it’s too early for that prediction. Check back with me at the All-Star break and I will give you my official choices.”
Okay, will do. I will be back to the club before then, and I promise to make it rain.
The three-story Rick’s Cabaret New York (50 West 33 Street) features beautiful entertainers, VIP suites, a Roof Deck Lounge, and its own Rick’s Steakhouse (open late).
